NUESTRA JUNTA
Utah Wild está organizado por seis miembros de la junta que se unieron por su amor por lo último y el objetivo de elevar la comunidad de Mountain West Ultimate a un nivel profesional.
Erica Bindas
she/they
Erica is a proud native of Minnesota where, after giving up basketball, she learned to throw a disc. She started playing ultimate seriously in college at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. In the fall of 2018 after five years with the Fighting Gobies (captaining for two years), a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and an MS in Materials Science Engineering, they made their way out west to Utah. She spent her college summers at Camp Menogyn guiding hiking, climbing, and primarily canoeing trips throughout northern Minnesota and Canada, all the way up to the Arctic Ocean! Since then they have played club Ultimate with Utah Elevate, Mom Pants, and Swell. When she’s not thinking about frisbee, you can find her talking to her cat, Phoebe, or siblings, Ava, Sylvie, and Evan.

Jessica "Jess" Horii
she/her
Jess grew up in the mountains of Colorado, near Breckenridge. She received both a BS and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. While attending Mines, Jess ran for the track and field team for three years. After retiring from track, some of her friends convinced her to play on the Ultimate Frisbee team, Enthalpy, for her last two years, although one and a half of those years didn’t really happen with the COVID-19 pandemic. After graduation, Jess played in some leagues and picked up on a few different club teams, until moving to Ogden, UT and playing her first full club season with Utah Swell. Jess loves skiing, hiking, camping, travelling and spending time with her friends and family!
Juliana "Jules" Williams
she/her
Jules lives outside Denver, Colorado, and has lived and played ultimate across the country (Washington, California, Utah, Colorado, Iowa, Maryland). She transitioned to ultimate from track and field while at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Jules went to college nationals with University of Maryland Helpful Corn, while earning a Master of Public Policy. Returning to Washington, Jules founded and played with Seattle Freeze for three years, before making the jump to Big Sky ultimate. She played with the Bozeman Bozos for two years and Boise Lochsa for three, including a trip to nationals in 2021. Jules is a veteran of the master's scene, playing for women’s and mixed teams out of Seattle and Denver. She works in energy policy and has learned that climbing peaks in the Rockies is better conditioning than track workouts. She loves the Mountain West and is excited to help grow women's* ultimate in the region.

Kendra Miller
she/her
Kendra grew up in Aztec, New Mexico where she reaped the benefits of small town sports, participating in basketball, volleyball, track, and rodeo. She attended college at BYU where she ran the 400m for a year before finding the Ultimate team. All it took was one practice and she was hooked. Kendra joined the BYU Women’s team in 2016, played for 4 years, and captained for 2. She has also played 4 seasons with SLC Elevate, and the inaugural season with UT WILD. Kendra has a huge passion for young women in ultimate and coaches the Utah U20 girls team, and is going on to her third year as head coach of the BYU CHI Women’s team. When she is not playing Frisbee, Kendra enjoys doubles volleyball, hiking mountains, reading, and longboarding.
Leah Smith
she/her
Leah grew up in Salt Lake City and is recently received her Masters in Public Administration. After ten years of lacrosse, three in college, Leah started playing for Spiral Jetty at the University of Utah. She played two semester for SJU before finishing undergrad and has played three seasons with Utah Elevate. Leah has also served on the Utah Ultimate Disc Association Board. Besides ultimate, Leah enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with her cat Luna.

Taylor Williams
he/him
Taylor Grew up in Columbus, Ohio where he ran cross country and track and learned to play every musical instrument he could get his hands on. Taylor got his BA in Linguistics from Brigham Young University.
